Now a days, customers are looking for ways to save money on repairs. How? by trying to do it by themselves. With plenty of online information available, customers are trying to diagnose and repair their TVs by themselves. If you begin to buy parts to replace them yourself, sometimes this approach will take more money out from your pocket. TVs are complicated, have several parts and/or components, and if you do not order the correct part and properly replace it, or do not have the proper tools to do it, you might cause more damage to the TV than calling an experienced tech in the first place. If you order the wrong part, some part stores will charge you a return fee, plus you must pay any return shipping costs. I have visited customers that had disassembled the entire TV, and once they were not able to fix it, they had called for service. Do not let this happen to you. If you are not an experienced TV electronic technician, we suggest you to call one in your area. There are many excellent technicians out there willing to help you. Once you call an experienced electronic tech for service, the tech will be able to accurately diagnose your TV and tell you how much it will cost to repair it. Another suggestion is not to open your TV, and not to try to remove any parts until the tech arrives. It is worth to pay the affordable service call fee to get a proper diagnose. The best way to save money in your TV repair is to call an Experienced Electronic Technician.

Power outages are the main cause for a TV, and other electronics, to damage their power supply board. When power comes back after an outage, there is an overload of power causing some components of the power supply to blow. Sometimes it can be repair by replacing those components, but sometimes the board must be replaced depending on the severity of the damage.
Here are some of my suggestions to prevent damage during power outages. 1. Get a surge protector (your favorite hardware store will carry it) and connect your electronics in there, including your cable box, DVD player, etc. If there is power outage while watching your TV, immediately turn Off the surge protector. Wait until the power comes back and then turn it On, and resume watching your favorite program. 2. If you do not have a surge protector and have a power outage, disconnect your TV, and follow the same steps as with a surge protector Step #1. 3. It is very important during a thunderstorm to turn it off too, since power outages might occur during a thunderstorm. If you believe your TV or computer may have been damaged during a power outage, do not try to diagnose or open it. Call an experienced electronic technician in your area. If you live in Palm Beach, Martin or Port St Lucie Counties in Florida give us call. We have strong expertise and have repaired many TVs with power supply issues, most of them without the need to replace the board, at an affordable price and repair it the same day in your home. Everyday I receive calls from customers asking for how much it will cost to repair a broken screen TV. My answer is very simple, Plasma, LCD or LED, well...how much are you will to spend? Accidents happen, for example a child throwing a toy while playing, a remote control or a cell phone thrown during moment of anger, TV fell off the wall, or it just broke when it was placed on the bed before clearing the bed from any hard objects. TVs are not like the old tube TVs anymore. The screen or display is the most expensive part of the TV when it is manufactured. The same principle applies when it needs to be replaced. Usually, if the part is available, it will cost almost the same as the price of a new TV with similar features or sometimes cost will be higher. Unfortunately a broken screen caused by accident is not covered by any warranty. Just keep this in mind when buying your next TV.
